About SchoolSlate
SchoolSlate is a school management platform for boards and schools — covering people and roles, school structure, syllabus and grades, and AI-assisted question papers. It is built to be multi-tenant, self-hosted, and privacy-first.
Schools around the world follow different curricula and different privacy laws. Instead of forcing one model, SchoolSlate treats those differences as configuration: a board is data, a curriculum is the textbooks you upload, and compliance is chosen by jurisdiction.

Configurable, not hardcoded
Boards, roles, grade levels, subjects, terms and grading scales are all data you control — no two schools are forced into the same shape.
Privacy by design
It runs on your own infrastructure. Student data never leaves your servers, and each board's data is isolated at the database level.
Compliance that follows the school
Declare your country and the platform applies the right rules — FERPA & COPPA in the US, GDPR in the EU/UK, DPDP in India — including audit logging and retention.
AI without the data risk
Paper and syllabus generation use a model that runs locally against your own textbooks. No third-party AI service ever sees your content.
